If you’re looking for grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free, local beef – you’ve come to the right place.
Here in Terrebonne, Oregon, we buy 10-12 month old steer each spring and we graze them on our irrigated property for 8-10 months, depending on the size and age of the animal. At 18-22 months of age, we butcher at federal or state inspected facilities and the meat comes wrapped in individual packages, ready for your freezer. We sell wholes, halves, quarters and ground beef. If you have unique sizing needs, let us know. We are willing to discuss different quantities.
Generally, the frozen meat pick up is at our farm in Terrebonne, Oregon (just north of Redmond), however we may deliver for a charge to Portland or the Willamette Valley.
Prices:
For quarters, halves and wholes, we charge $5.50 per lb, hang weight. Processed and wrapped meat is generally 65% of hang weight or approximately $9.00 per lb.
Steak width or other specialty cuts can be ordered.
Typical hang weights for whole beef grass-fed Angus, Angus-cross, Hereford and Charolais are approximately 700 lbs.
Curious about buying hay, too? Let us know! We would be happy to discuss the details.
